Our values
While many manufacturers have finally given in to the temptation to relocate, ICOM has always remained true to its image of quality and performance by choosing to design and manufacture the majority of its equipment in Japan, the cradle of high technology. Each new product is the result of a long process of reflection combining the latest available technologies and the evolution of consumer needs.
The ICOM factory in Wakayama has a state-of-the-art production system to produce the entire range of equipment. The design and manufacturing processes are certified to ISO9001/ISO9002 and ISO14001 environmental standards.
Over the past 50 years, ICOM has come a long way and is now a Japanese company listed on the Tokyo and Osaka stock exchanges, with equipment distributed in over 80 countries worldwide. However, this international development continues to be fuelled by the same values that have driven its founder from the start: passion, innovation, quality and listening!
