FinBin is a product family for furnishing of public environments. The product range covers urban furnitures: litter bins, recycling bins and other street furnitures as benches, shelters etc. FinBin is a brand of company Lehtovuori Oy.

It all started in 1945

The roots of the company date back in 1945 when a Finnish company
Lehtovuori Oy were established. Company provides living environment products and solutions for furnishing interior and exterior environment. Since that the products have been strongly present in the living environments in the city surroundings, public and commercial premises, terminals, housing areas, parks, play and sporting grounds etc. Product range covers benches, litter bins, bicycle storaging systems, shelters etc.

FinBin Products since 1995 in 1945

The FinBin story starts around 1990. The City of Helsinki put out a
tender for a completely new litter bin design. The winning model represented pure Nordic design. It was designed according to customer requirements, and soon City litter bins filled the public areas of the capital of Finland – as they still do and later also in many other cities.

The product range were soon expanded with new litter bin products
combined with good design and durable functionality. In 1995 the name FinBin was launched when the first litter bin products were delivered to international markets. Since that the FinBin litter bin products can be found in many locations in Europe, Middle-East and North-America. Today the FinBin brand represents Lehtovuori Oy´s products for export markets including also other products for urban furnishing: benches, bicycle storaging, shelters etc.

The FinBin continues its success in many markets and the same
passion drives the creation of new models. Details matter: visual and environmental values, ergonomics, economy and user friendliness are all taken into account and result in optimal material and form choices.
