Diesel Belt loaders are vehicles with conveyor belts for unloading and loading of luggage and goods on airplane. These units can be used for a wide range of aircraft including corporate aircraft, regional jets, commercial narrow-body aircraft, or commercial wide-body aircraft. Belt loaders can operate on gas, diesel, LGP, or electric. They also have the capability to reach a range of door sill heights of aircraft holds (baggage compartments) during operation. A belt loader is positioned at the door threshold of an aircraft hold (luggage compartment) during operation. Belt loaders are used for narrow-body aircraft(e.g. 737) , and the bulk hold of wide-body jet(e.g. 767 and 747). Hoarding baggage without containers is known as bulk loading. Except for this diesel belt loader, GOODSENSE forklift also supplies electric belt loaders which are low noise, and zero-emission.
The conveyor belts loader are designed to convey baggage and goods into the aircraft hold; they are built on a robust steel chassis with driver's seat on the left-hand side of the frame. Depending on requirements, the conveyor boom have a length 8000 mm. The modular structure of the conveyor belt, with high drainage capacity, minimises water deposits and the probable constitution of ice. It does not require straining and allows quick replacement even of small sections, thereby providing numerous advantages in the field of time and maintenance costs.
The vehicle is equipped with a traction battery that powers the electric traction motor, the electric motor for the power steering, and the electric motor for the rotation of the belt. It has an automatic electric transmission and hydraulic power steering.
