The new P.68C TC was designed to respond to the needs of those pilots and operators using the aircraft in more demanding conditions in terms of airport elevationand density attitudes. This year the aircraft is offered standard with numerous improvements such as a completely redesigned cockpit with a brand new avionic suite featuring the new Garmin G-1000 NXI coupled with a new Garmin GFC700 digital autopilot with yaw damper, adjustable seats, a standard pilot door, sturdier main gear and brakes, and a higher maximum zero fuel weight.
Relative to the normally aspirated engine of P.68C, the P.68C TC features better climb rates and increased performance guarantee.
The P.68C TC is the sensible alternative to many single engine and light twin aircraft in today’s General Aviation market.
The redundancy of the second engine with a fuel consumption comparable to many six-cylinder single engine piston aircraft place the P.68C TC is in a class of its own. Since its inception the aircraft was designed to be a twin and it shows in its extremely benign flight qualities.
Many of today’s twins lack the power and maneuverability to operate in and out of short unprepared strips. This is not the case of the P.68C TC which is at total ease in those conditions.
