The failure of individual aircraft components can have serious consequences. Cables, connectors, or sockets icing up poses a real danger. This applies to water connections and drainage systems. VINCORION ensures that these continue to function properly using small heaters and heated components. VINCORION’s engineering expertise can be seen in the heating element for the gray water drain pipe, the drain mast. Since cold penetrates the entire pipe, the heating element covers the entire length of the pipe – without any significant increase in weight. Heaters on the door fittings to prevent evacuation slides from freezing, ensuring that passengers can exit safely in the event of an emergency, are another area of application. In each case, we respond individually to the requirements of different manufacturers’ aircraft models.
