The Smart Queue combines both the SMART SHORTCUT and SMART CALL solutions,transforming a conventional queue into a logistics process that is comparable to the processes of the large parcel service providers. But without making your customers feel like parcels!
Complemented by our Public Guidance products, such as Beltrac belt posts and Nextrac partition systems and signage we create a total solution that eliminates the need for staff intervention and improves customer flow. Sensors constantly measure the flow of people and control the Smart Gates, in the form of our electronic swing doors.
This results in a more pleasant customer journey, whilst achieving the "As short as possible" customers feel when greeted with queue. At the same time, the automated queue control optimises the space within the queue to make it "As long as necessary".The path from the end of the queue to the service positions is displayed to customers on screens and the call is then triggered by sensors or other devices, such as ticket machines or self-service terminals.
This reduces idle times and, as a result, the total waiting time.
Smart gates and smart algorithms for the perfect queue
The Smart Gate is a revolving gate that rotates around a Beltrac post. Sensors in the queue identify the passenger flow and calculate the best footpath for the person waiting, with the Smart Gates triggered by radio.This results in optimisation for all: as short as possible as long as necessary
