Kantseals are square or rectangular sectioned elastomer rings,typically used in static locations or lower pressure dynamicpositions, where high sealing efficiency and shape stability areimportant.Kantseals can be compression molded or machined and additionalcorner chamfers or radii can be used to alter the seal's frictionalbehavior.Available in a full range of elastomer materials compatible withalmost any fluid commonly found in aircraft applications.
