Thermo-Est also designs sensors fitted on test benches, either for designing and developing engines or for studying and characterising materials. Thermo-Est has particularly worked on the development of engines for the Rafale aircraft, making pressure and temperature sensors. We have also worked on the improvement of the Vulcain engine of the Ariane 5 rocket. Thermo-Est is proficient in the design and making of sensors with very stringent requirements in terms of methods (BNi2 brazing, complex machined shapes, routing of measuring elements) and materials.
