The Thales Single Finger Scanner CSD201i is a single-digit fingerprint scanner available in two form factors – CSD201m as OEM Module and CSD201i as discrete device. Powered by USB 2.0, the connection allows for easy integration with new or existing applications. The durable, lightweight, and ergonomic design allows the CSD201i devices to be portable without compromising image quality. Bright indicator LED lights help users to operate and place the finger at the appropriate time to avoid confusion. The CSD201i performs on-board processing of the captured fingerprint image, as well as signing and encryption of the biometric element. It supports anti-latent feature with anti-smudge coating.
