Description

Telephonics’ APS-143G and AN/APS-508 multi-mission ISR radar systems combine high-performance maritime, littoral and land surveillance capabilities with a fully integrated Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogator into a single system. This COTS-based radar is designed for medium to large fixed-wing aircraft on long-range surveillance missions over sea, land or air. The AN/APS-508 is currently deployed on the CP-140 Aurora platform. The Telephonics Advantage Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imaging at 1 m with range profiling mode3-phase Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) target detection beyond 65 NM Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging at 0.4 m resolution, with extended ranges imaging beyond 60 NM including integrated range zoom Enhanced small target detection mode at greater ranges in high-sea states Long-range maritime search, air surveillance modes and fully integrated IFF interrogator provide target detections out to 200 NM Additional Benefits Doppler Beam Sharpened (DBS) mapping Dual video cards Squint SAR Image stabilization Optical delay line Self-calibration 120 RPM scan rate Programmable wave form Back-to-back arrays (vertical and horizontal polarization) Missions Served Maritime, land and air surveillance Search and rescue Modes Long-range maritime search Enhanced small-target detection ISAR SAR
