Description

The insulating protection consists of a sandwich formed by two containment sheets in AISI of very small thickness (0.1 or 0.05 mm) that give shape and stiffness to the Blanket. Between the sheets there is an insulating material. The sheet is made using cold forging and can therefore be completely adapted and modelled onto the part that must be protected. The design can be fully carried out in CATIA and therefore integrated with the interfaces of the aircraft without the need for an installation test. This technology is widely used for the realization of: Thermal insulation of ECS HIGH TEMPERATURE HIGH PRESSURE PIPING - OPERATING TEMPERATURE UP TO 650°C - MAXIMUM 850°C FLAME RETARDANT BULKHEADS IN ACCORDANCE WITH AC20.135 - ISO 2685
