The POP300D/HD is a POP300 Plug-in Optronic Payload electro-optical sensor system equipped with a powerful laser designator and eye-safe range finder. This lightweight, compact multi-sensor gyro-stabilized system is used for observation, acquisition and laser designation missions. The POP300D/HD is the ultimate solution for day and night Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Target Acquisition/Target Designation (TA/TD) missions. The POP300D/HD is built of a turret, housing the payload motion and stabilization elements, and sensor “slices” that offer different sensor/laser combinations. This unique design enables easy reconfiguration in the field and provides the user with operational flexibility. The laser designator is compatible with U.S. and NATO laser guided munitions, including Hellfire missions.
