The origin of the name is a fantastic mountain range, the Cordilheira Branca, located in the Andes of Ancash in Peru. The Alpamayo is the most known summit in this region, and considered the most beautiful mountain in the world, cause his shape reminds the form of a perfect diamond. As the name is suggesting, the new harness is made of noble textiles. The weight does not exceed 600 gr and fits in a small bag, satisfying the need of lightness and little volume, fundamental elements for an equipment in this sport activity.
