SOGITEC HORUS is a mixed reality simulator for the initial and recurrent training of helicopter hoist operators and/or door gunners. SOGITEC HORUS tackles the needs of both civil (hoist operators) and military (hoist operators and door gunners) operators. With a scaled rear cabin and hoist and gun replicas, SOGITEC HORUS trains in mixed reality for hoisting, firing and multi-crew coopération in a realistic virtual tactical environment. SOGITEC HORUS can be either networked, used in stand-alone mode or connected with a flight or mission simulator, for a full crew tactic training. SOGITEC HORUS relies on the core simulation, a common framework which allows more flexibility and interoperability (tactical and natural environment, audio, etc.)
