Supplied to the rolled plate specification, L93 is an aerospace aluminium plate product containing 3.9 - 5.0% copper. CLASSIFICATION It is classed as an aerospace aluminium plate product and is solution treated, artificially aged and stress relieved (control stretched) to achieve the T651 condition. BENEFITS L93 aluminium alloy plate is a product explicitly used in aerospace, defence and high technology market applications. The alloy has excellent resistance, spot and beam weldability, but other welding methods are poor. The alloy has poor resistance to atmospheric corrosive attack.
