Description
The structural damping solution SMACSONIC is made of a viscoelastic material bonded to an aluminum layer and can be used for both metallic and composite structures.
A pressure sensitive adhesive is installed on the viscoelastic side, to simplify installation as much as possible.
This product reduces noise induced by structural vibrations by shearing the high-damping viscoelastic layer while being a low-footprint solution.
