The L-854 Air-to-Ground Radio Control is a system allowing pilots to turn ON the ground lights on desired brightness level.
The system is also called PAL (pilot activated lighting) or ARCAL (aircraft radio control of aerodrome lighting) or PCL (Pilot-controlled lighting).
If the pilot clicks 3 times on the microphone into an interval of 5 seconds, the lights will turn On on 10% brightness.
If the pilot clicks 5 times on the microphone into an interval of 5 seconds, the lights will turn On on 30% brightness.
If the pilot clicks 7 times on the microphone into an interval of 5 seconds, the lights will turn On on 100% brightness.
Description
The system is fully tunable in the 118 – 136 MHz airband.
Input power is 230 V AC.
It works connected with Controller V3
It will automatically turn OFF in 15 minutes after the last group of clicks.
There s a special function triggered by a long click of 5 seconds. This will turn ON or OFF a four relay. This relay can be used to turn ON or OFF different equipment on the ground.
