The platform has slip resistant treads to the steps and floor and the modular, aluminium design and construction means the entire product is lightweight and can be easily moved. Typical of the quality of the Semmco products, the Fan Blade Removal Platform is fitted with castors and stabilising kick down jacks that are released once the platform is in place and protective padding features on leading edge and hand rails to protect the engine when the platform is moved into place. The design enables engineers to easily and safely move around the areas that they need to access without worrying about their safety and the platform floor provides a great base to place tools and equipment for easy access, without becoming a trip hazard.
