The Semmco XWB Horizontal Build Variable Height Access Platform is designed to neatly encompass the intricacies of an engine to enable engineers to access all areas safely and improve efficiencies. The platform can be carefully moved into place and its height adjusted using the electrically controlled height adjustment mechanism. The sliding fingers can also be adjusted to fit around the contours of the engine so that the working area can be extended without causing any damage.
The platform is constructed from lightweight but robust aluminium and has sturdy, swivel castors so that it can be positioned easily. Soft protective padding is fitted to all railings, platform and sliding finger edges to protect the engine.
The platform has non-slip aluminium stair treads, a non-slip platform surface and is also fitted with stability jacks that are positioned once it is in place.
