The Under Cowl Access Steps (UCAS) XL has been designed for ramp and airport environment requirements with a robust chassis incorporates all wheel suspension, proven slew ring steering and safe wheel brake parking with tow bar in vertical position. The lightweight aluminium construction provides ease of manoeuvring with slip resistant, self-draining tread for stairs and platform. The variable height platform system incorporates a dog rack and lock safety system which is sprung loaded ensuring each incremental increase 50mm (2inch) in height is locked out, with an easy wind cable on a drum height raise from 2,900-4,000mm. Wide front platform with side railings, opening front gates (3 lock positions) provides a multiple use safe working platform providing safe access to engines, pylons, wing and fuelling valves. Safe working heights mid platform 800mm with Variable height platform of 2.9-4.0m height.
