Main Deck, Narrow or Wide Body Container Satco was the first to introduce the dual contoured main deck container which can be used on narrow bodied DC-8 and B727 as well as the B767 Freighter or other wide bodied aircraft. A single container may be positioned either laterally on narrow bodied aircraft or longitudinally on wide bodied aircraft. Combines the best properties of aluminum alloy and polycarbonate to provide maximum durability at a low 470 lbs. tare weight. Base utilizes high strength 6000 series aluminum alloy edge rails and 7075-T6 sheet for maximum durability. Patented clamp method attaches impact resistant polycarbonate body panels to specially formed single piece extruded hoop members. The vinyl roll-up door assembly has proven to be the most cost effective door assembly ever produced by Satco.
