The business jet variant of the Boeing 737 offers high-end mobility to passengers for business or leisure travels.
Since 2008, this aircraft could be fitted with Safran Landing Systems wheels and brakes, just like the commercial version of the 737. Besides its proven endurance, (which leads to reduced maintenance costs), Safran Landing Systems carbon brake has one major advantage: reduced weight. Less weight means an increase in payload and the possibility to fly longer distances.
Today, 27 737 BBJs are equipped with Safran Landing Systems carbon brakes – available also in retrofit.
