Airliner landing gear A320neo

Already the incumbent landing gear supplier for the A320 family, Safran Landing Systems was selected in 2011 to supply landing gears for the latest generation Airbus single aisle. Enhancements have been introduced to the current gears to meet the requirements of the new generation aircraft whilst maintaining the proven in-service performance record of the A320 landing gear. These evolutions include a reinforcement of the landing gear structure as well as a wider use of anti-corrosion and protective coatings, which enable an increase in the time between overhauls to more than 10 years, a 20% increase compared to the current version landing gears. Safran Landing Systems also supplies wheels and carbon brakes for the A320neo.
