Safran Aerosystems life rafts ensure the safety of passengers and crew in the event of a ditching.. Stable up to sea state 6, they provide a high level of safety, a low weight and a low packaging volume.
Self-inflating and reversible
Light-weight life rafts
Sustainable materials
Designed for demanding environments (sea states 1 to 6), Safran Aerosystems self-inflating reversible life rafts have proven their reliability in numerous programs. They can be adapted to all helicopter, submarine and aircraft platforms, with passenger capacities ranging from 1 to 31 seats. They benefit from a worldwide support network spanning five continents, serving both manufacturers and operators.
Unrivaled performance
The reliability of Safran Aerosystems life rafts is ensured by rapid inflation using carbon fiber gas cylinders filled with CO2/N2. Equipped with ballast tanks, a marine anchor and two flotation tubes, they are also the most stable life rafts on the market. Their polyurethane-coated polyamide fabrics are sealed using a thermobonding process ensuring excellent durability. Finally, the use of bright-colored fabrics, water activated lights and radar-detectable reflective stripes ensure that search teams can easily locate shipwrecked people.
