Airport keyboard RD3001

The RD3001 is RDDS’ latest airborne qualified Keyboard, available with USB or PS/2 Input, the unit is everything you could ever want from an Airborne Keyboard. It is rugged, reliable and features a number of quality of life improvements that set it apart from the competition. Alongside a standard QWERTY Layout Keyboard, the RD3001 includes a phenolic resin trackball, which provides a space-saving, ergonomic solution for on-platform cursor control. Furthermore, the trackball has been optimised to prevent cursor-stray in high vibration environments such as those found on Rotary Platforms or Land Vehicles. The RD3001 also features NVG-Compatible key backlights to MIL STD 3009 Class-B, the brightness of the backlighting can be controlled via keyboard hotkeys. Alongside the standard QWERTY layout, RDDS engineers can swiftly develop modified units to match national standards and layout alternatives.
