That’s why they are often used as medical keyboards in doctor's offices, hospitals or at the dentist. Its closed silicone surface makes it easy to disinfect. The hygiene keyboard has no edges or openings in which dirt or germs can accumulate. To lock all keys at once the hygienic keyboard has a separate cleaning function. So you don't have to separate the keyboard from the PC to wipe it down. You can spray the surface directly with common cleaning agents and disinfectants and simply wipe off any residues. The easy to clean keyboard is extremely rugged. It offers protection class IP65 and is cold and heat resistant. Because of this, and because of its hygienic properties, it is as popular in medical laboratories as it is in the food industry. With the adjustable backlit keys, the silicone keyboard can also be used in dark or poorly lit places. In daily business the programmable keyboard makes recurring processes more efficient by reducing short cuts or entire macros to the press of a key. By default, the keyboard is available with an alphanumeric layout (German or US). Other keyboard layouts are possible on request.
