The PSF-53005 is a medium intensity 120 or 220-240 volts ground level surface mounted helipad and helideck floodlight. The purpose of the PSF is to provide cones of light "washing" the landing surface that provides improved conspicuity and depth perception to the pilot.The PSF floodlight housing is heavy duty cast aluminum with a strong cast aluminum cover. The unit includes a complete glare shield for the two (2) flood lamps. An internal ground lug is included. The PSF is powdercoat painted aviation yellow for corrosion resistance that meets the US Military Standard Salt Fog Test conducted per MIL-STD-810F, Method 509.4, Procedure I, paragraph 4.5.2. There are two (2)¾-inch NPT entries at rear wall.
