The force gage has a measuring range of 0 … 1000 kg / 2204 lb and a resolution of 0.1 kg. With an accuracy of 1% of the measuring range, the crane scale is also a precise measuring device. This is why the crane scale is used, for example, when weighing raw materials. The backlit LC display on the digital crane scale has a digit height of 30 mm and can be easily read from a large distance. In addition to the kg display, the digital crane scale can also display the attached weight in lb and in N.
The robust metal housing of the force gage allows it to be used in harsh industrial conditions. The crane scale is operated by three 1.5 V AA batteries. Only the largest weighed load is displayed and held via the "MAX" function of the crane scale. With the "tare" function, the displayed measured value on the crane scale can be zeroed. This function comes into action when, for example, measuring equipment is attached. The "Hold" function of the crane scale enables a displayed measured value to be held. PCE Instruments optionally offers an ISO calibration certificate for the crane scale.
