The coating thickness measuring device is used for the quick and precise detection of layer thicknesses on metals. In comparison to many other paint thickness gauges, this coating thickness measuring device does not have to differentiate between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the coating thickness measuring device, one-hand operation is possible. Despite its small size, the coating thickness measuring device has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm).
The measured values displayed can be output in µm, mm and in mils on the coating thickness measuring device. In addition to measuring the layer thickness, the coating thickness measuring device can determine the smallest, the largest and also the mean value from a series of different measurements. The coating thickness measuring device also has an automatic switch-off function.
