The Acceleration Sensor has been developed for the continuous monitoring of the vibration speed. The Acceleration Sensor is available in different versions. Depending on the type of vibration sensor, a distinction is made between design and measuring range. The Acceleration Sensor measures the vibration speed in the range of ± 12.7 mm / s or ± 25.4 mm / s in the frequency range between 3 Hz and 1500 kHz.
The measured vibration speed is output as a 4 ... 20 mA process current. The Acceleration Sensor is looped through a MIL-C-5015 connector to a controller or process display. Depending on the design, the connection socket is attached to the vibration sensor vertically or horizontally. The Acceleration Sensor can be operated with a voltage of 12 ... 24 V DC.
