Log Average and Peak Wind Speed
Logging Average and Peak Wind Speed requires two of the XR5-SE's three pulse channels.
Durable and Sensitive
The WSD-100 can withstand hurricane-force winds yet read a light 2 mph breeze. It features a hand-balanced wind direction vane for optimal stability and accuracy, sealed stainless steel ball bearings for long life, and includes 40 feet (12 meters) of attached cable. Typical mounting hardware is included for mounting to a pipe, wooden post, antenna mast, or similar structure. Some assembly is required, and additional mounting hardware may be required, depending on the installation (see Installation Guide for details).
Up to three Wind Speed and Direction Sensors may be connected to one XR5 Data Logger
Note: The WSD-100 is not compatible with the Pace XR440 Data Logger.
