The Norman 4700 Series Straight In-Line Filters with stainless steel housings designed for high pressures. This filter is similar to our 43/4400 series but for operating pressures above 6,000 PSI. Medium pressure and high-pressure autoclave style connections. 4700 series are predominantly sold to aerospace and offshore oil & gas. Straight In-Line Filter Materials The heart of the filter is the element which is made of the following: Recleanable, pleated microweave 304 stainless steel Available in seven filtration ratings from 10 to 200 micron absolute 316L porous sintered stainless steel Available in four filtration ratings from .2 to 10 micron absolute Disposable glass fiber Rated at 3, 5 or 10 micron absolute Element collapse ratings of 3000, 3250 and 4500 psi are available.
