At National baskets are constructed of the highest quality materials. Each basket includes a frame constructed of aircraft aluminum 2024 T-3. This ensures an extremely strong, yet lightweight structure, while still offering flexibility on landing. A top rail also made of this aluminum creates the strongest and most durable basket in the industry. Side rails are padded and covered with fine quality leather. National offers both high and low side rails. This allows the adventurous pilot to enjoy their surroundings with a lower side rail or, if you are choosing your baskets based on passenger status, a higher rail for that extra secure feeling. ¾” plywood floors are standard for durability.
