Description

TIVAR® UHMW-PE sets the standard for engineered polymers with a unique combination of wear and corrosion resistance, low friction surface and impact strength. The material is resistant to chemical corrosion and moisture absorption, and retains key physical properties to -200°C. An excellent general-purpose material, TIVAR® is a cost-effective solution for food handling problems. Its natural formulation, but also many of its color variations, meet FDA and EU 10/2011 guidelines for food processing and handling. From food processing to packaging, bulk material handling to pharmaceutical processing TIVAR® can improve your business performance. If your process machinery has problems with noise, premature wear, stretched chains, unscheduled downtime or expensive replacements, TIVAR® solves those problems and your machinery runs longer and smoother. TIVAR® Arctic is a modified, revolutionary lining material based on an extremely high molecular weight PE matrix. While subzero temperatures can cause bulk materials to freeze to traditional UHMW-PE liners, TIVAR® Arctic exhibits great release properties even below -15°C. Developed especially for use in the coldest regions on earth where temperatures can drop to -50°C, its unique and innovative formulation is based on active fillers that makes TIVAR® Arctic very effective when used at freezing temperatures. Field tested in Siberia, TIVAR® Arctic could give a very short payback time for your investment. TIVAR® Arctic is Patent Pending. TIVAR® Burnguard is a static dissipative and flame retardant material specifically developed to improve the flammability behavior of unfilled polyethylene grades.
