FFP2 mask Nonwoven

In 2020, when concerns over viruses grew around the world, with the purpose of ensuring the safety of Group employees and deterring damage to outside the company, MinebeaMitsumi began developing and producing nonwoven fabric masks using high-efficiency collection filters in clean rooms in Japan (our Hamamatsu Plant /Fukuroi, Shizuoka) and China (our Shanghai Plant) for helping those who need masks. Since June of 2020, MinebeaMitsumi has been selling nonwoven fabric masks in Japan and these products have been used not only within the company but also by people outside the company. Furthermore, the Group is sharing its know-how in developing and manufacturing masks. On February 5, 2021, C&A Tool Engineering, Inc., a MinebeaMitsumi Group company in the U.S., begun producing and selling nonwoven fabric masks. Following Japan, China and the U.S., our Thai operation, an important base that accounts for more than 30% of our global production, also begun producing nonwoven fabric masks. We will begin selling the masks on e- commerce website (Shopee Thailand) on April 7, 2021.
