Description

Excellent physical strength properties High dimensional stability Superior temperature and chemical resistance Not oxygen inhibited Master Bond UV24TKLO is a one part, modified epoxy acrylate UV curable system for bonding, sealing and encapsulation. It passes the rigorous requirements for low outgassing as per ASTM E-595. It has outstanding resistance to chemicals, as described in part below. Upon curing, it should be noted that UV24TKLO is slightly translucent. The best wavelengths for curing are 320-365 nm and the energy requirement is 10-40 milliwatts per cm2. This UV system is not oxygen inhibited. UV24TKLO has superb physical strength and electrical insulation properties. The service temperature range is -60°F to +400°F and its Tg is 120-130°C. The UV24TKLO can be cured in thicker sections, up to 1/16 of an inch and can be easily “layered” to higher levels. Most notable is that it passes the NASA low outgassing test, which enables it to be used in a wide array of applications where that property is a requirement. In order to optimize cured properties, post curing at 80-110°C for 2-4 hours is strongly recommended, if possible. Even heating at a lower temperature will enhance properties. Product Advantages Not oxygen inhibited Outstanding physical strength properties Reliable electrical insulator Relatively high Tg
