This is our travelling column machining center solution for extremely heavy stock removal on workpieces with a maximum swing of 2100 mm. The Spark 2100 guarantees excellent performances in terms of dynamics and stock removal on cast iron and steel components. It is a good starting point for 5-axis machining of tough material. The machine is available both in a basic configuration as well as in the multitasking configuration for milling and turning. In the latter case, the table fixed to the base is an added value which gives the necessary stiffness to obtain excellent results even with axisymmetric workpieces with a maximum swing of 2100 mm and loads up to 5000 kg. The access area within the box is particularly big so as to facilitate the work of the operator close to the workpiece.
