Lone Star Aviation’s FAA TSO approved Universal Fast Charger offers high-speed USB-C charging for iPads as well as personal electronic devices (PEDs), cell phones, laptops or other USB-C devices. The USB-C charger can be purchased as a single or dual output power supply capable of charging USB-C devices up to 60W. The Universal Fast Charger is designed for 14 to 28 VDC systems and is DO160G tested to harsh airborne environmental conditions. The table below represents the maximum power levels and available protocols for USB-C devices. The PED device and USB-C charger firmware negotiate the best protocol, voltage, and amperage for the highest possible charging rate. Units are in-stock and ready to ship.
