Ambulift ALS-U is designed to transport passengers with disabilities and their attendants to and from aircrafts, as well as to assist them with boarding and disembarking. The passenger cabin is fitted with lights and a ventilation system. There is also an intercom available inside the cabin to ensure communication between passengers and an ambulift operator. Additionally, the cabin is equipped with restraining systems for stretchers and wheelchairs, a cabinet and seating places for attendants. Non-slip grip handrails are installed on both sides inside of the cabin. A rear platform allows for the installation of a special device to transfer stretchers from the platform into the cabin. Foldable rail guards are installed all around the platform. Ambulifts can be equipped with climate-control systems, as well as special needs wheelchairs.
