JPA’s collaboration with Cathay Pacific on the design of its new Business Class seat and cabin interior also extended to the design of Cathay’s Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins. As part of this project, JPA was responsible for the re-styling of standard Premium Economy and Economy seats as well as developing a bespoke colour and trim design for both cabins. For the Premium Economy seat JPA re-styled the seatback and created an amenity shelf under the personal TV which is able to accommodate small items such as mobile phones and reading glasses without encroaching on passenger space.
