ES-3 (Suitable For Thin & Small Volume Test Components)The Equostat 3 is a hardness tester designed with thin and small test components in mind. Hardness test results are negatively affected by thin and small volume materials unless they are compensated for. The Equostat 3 uses Proceq's patented and pre-installed software package in conjunction with specially designed impactors to achieve this.The ES3 is supplied with a freehand measuring and processor unit as standard but a clamp type impactor for thin sections is also available - Allowing for hardness measurement on material as thin as 1mm.
