The Indra DME interfaces to any ILS or VOR system available today. It has a fully redundant system control and includes preventive maintenance routines performed remotely. Multiple DME stations are used to support “DME-DME” performance-based navigation (PBN). DME-DME operations allow aircraft to fly fuel efficient arrivals and departures in a GPS denied environment.
