Bit is an octocopter UAV which can use its efficiency in flight to provide a flight time of up to 1 hour or can provide a load capacity of 6 kg. Bit offers an ideal platform for professional users performing activities such as photogrammetry or structural surveys. Its carbon fiber structure provides precise, stable and wind resistant flight enabling payloads, such as hyper and multispectral sensors or Lidar, loaded on either a 2 or 3 axis gimbal to provide high quality data.
Equipped with a return to base function, a parachute and a flight termination feature in, Bit is extremely safe, especially as it is able to continue flying with up to two engines out of use (not on the same arm). It can be flown in automatic, GPS or manual mode with the pilot able to intervene at any time if necessary.
Bit is a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) with maximum take-off weight up to 9.5 kg designed to give the best performance when a heavy payload is needed.
The Bit’s octocopter structure not only ensure an exceptional flight stability, but it also increases the safety of its user, as the flight will continue even if a motor failure occurs.
The key feature of the design of the Bit is its versatility; its Plug & Play System allows the user to switch with ease between its various payloads (up to 2.5 Kg), allowing a variety of applications to be satisfied with just a single platform,
Bit is a versatile and easy to use RPAS that allows its user to see useful flight data (such as speed, position on the map and flight altitude) from the Ground Control Station and to remotely set up and control the various missions using waypoints.
