F99"RAMBO"-ADVANCED ULTRALIGHT AIRCRAFT 'RAMBO' is an aircraft of 'ultralight' category which can be flown by amateur pilots having sport pilot licence or similar.It is an all metal construction,high strutted wing,having a 2 place side-by-side cabin. The plane is having characterisics very appreciated by the ones who flown it:agile but forgiving,extremely difficult to stall(practically no stall),a glide ratio good enough to ensure no engine safe landings,STOL qualities and a remarkably low fuel burn at economic cruise flight(8-10 liters per hour). Thanks to the design concept the airframe is very robust,supporting without problems hard landings during school activities.The gun riveting solution and the anticorrosion system is ensuring a structural live hardly met at homebuilts and experimentals,estimated to tenths of years. At last,a mark of this plane is the the construction according aeronautical standards,by people who built the first Romanian jet fighter,the IAR-93/ORAO(see picture below). At the design stage CATIA software was used,ensuring dimensional and execution precision. For certification purpose there was performed airframe static tests and drop test according DS10141 Canadian Regulation,agreed by the Romanian Airclub.
