This system followed the test methods under MIL-STD-810, testing out the majority of the laboratory methods available. Features a 3 phase brushless alternator; it drives directly on the engine crankshaft. The stator is mounted to the crankshaft casing, with the rotor spinning on the crankshaft. The system includes a 200 W Power Management Unit. The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range: 12 – 15 VDC at 15A or 200W max and 4.8 – 7 VDC at 7A or 42W max.
