DA 120 EFI MIL SPEC UAV Engine by HFE International comes complete with state-of-the-art electronic fuel injection.
The MIL SPEC version features a tried and true fuel injection system. With more than 67,000 flight hours, this system is operational on over 700 aircraft in various environments throughout the world.
The system is tested to 20,000 foot altitude with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 120°F.
This system followed the test methods under MIL-STD-810, testing out the majority of the laboratory methods available.
This 3 phrase brushless alternator drives direct on the engine crankshaft. The stator mounts to the crankshaft casing; the rotor spins on the crankshaft.
The system includes a 500 W Power Management Unit with an integrated starter controller, allowing the engine to start remotely. The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range:
24 – 28 VDC at 12.5A or 350W max, 12 – 15 VDC at 9A or 108W, and 4.8 – 8 VDC at 8A or 42W.
Configurable with LiIon, LiPo, LifePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and Lead Acid Battery.
