Description

The EB1 is a multipurpose airborne computer qualified according to DO-160F. With its fully ruggedized but low weight case of only 1.25 kg, it is particularly suitable for extreme conditions in aviation. The EB1 can be installed as a stand-alone system running with Windows, Linux or other operating systems. With its implemented LTE/4G technology for mobile internet access it offers an ideal platform for a wide range of applications in the aircraft. Furthermore it can be used as interface between external systems such as our airborne systems (e.g. EuroNav 7) and our ground tools (e.g. EasyTask) to gather and streamline important information during flight. Depending on the operating system,it is able to provide all common applications like internet browser, PDF reader, media player as well as communication and entertainment apps in the aircraft. As part of the aircraft´s mission avionic, the EB1 is able to interface with third-party equipment to exchange data between the systems and to communicate between aircraft operator and ground station. Connected with the HENSOLDT Avionics product suite, the EB1 develops its full effect among other things, as remote control for the ERS and as external Network Attached Storage (NAS) device for digital video and audio recording Features Implemented 4G/LTE (optional)
