It comes with a 75 watt halogen lamp that is equivalent to a 250 watt incandescent bulb, thus saving electricity. Further, with its 70 degree wide feild of view, most helipads can be covered with 4 fixtures. The cast aluminum base serves as a junction box so no additional junction box is required. Further, with 4 half-inch NPT thread conduit entry points, all the wiring can be above ground. However, should you require underground wiring, there is a conduit entry point on the bottom. An optional 12 inch diameter octagonal grass plate is available.
