The GD-24XU is a mid-sized endurance focused drone designed with increased efficiency, including fast flight preparation and long flight times. The signature octagonal booms offer a strong and rigid platform and aircraft grade aluminium to offer a very good balance between strength and weight. This optimised balance of lightweight metal combined with the strength of the carbon fibre frames ensures significantly extended flight times. In particular, the GD-24XU also has a unique internal boom ESC heatsink technology that is patented which dissipates the heat from the ESC during extended flights The GD-24XU offers a reliable flight performance through it use of highly efficiency motors, lightweight carbon frames designed and manufactured in-house. The GD-24XU medium sized drone has been developed so that you can fly for an extended time whilst carrying up to 10 kilograms of payload With a unique internal boom technology and dedicated heat dissipation unit reduces the probability of failure and error due to the significant heat generated by the electronic speed controller when flying continuously or in hot climates. By mounting the heat dissipation units on opposite sides of the drone’s arm it also allows the airflow to quickly and efficiently control the heat generated by the electronic transmission With the electronic speed controller system being built into the motor booms, this minimises the impact on thrust loss as each boom is more streamlined.
