GLC-33 s-band primary surveillance radar is mainly designed to monitor short-range medium and low attitude targets, to provide target range, azimuth and other informations for the air traffic control system, and its functions and performance all comply with the relevant specifications of ICAO. It can also monitor the weather conditions in the air space near the airport, to provide reference meteorological information for air traffic control. The radar is based on full solid state, full coherent, pulse compression and moving target detection mechanism, with the features of high reliability, complete status monitoring, high level of automation and good maintainability.
